Hiking, biking, golf and tennis – enjoy the nature in the environment of Landhotel Schnuck
A variety of diversified activities inside the Landhotel Schnuck can be offered to our guests. Our comfortable wellness area invites you to enjoy and relax in the sauna and in the octagonal pool with its nice and friendly ambience granting you a look through the picture-window. If you would like to stay in a public pool where sauna and wellness area are much bigger we recommend to visit ‘Heidjers Wohl’ , situated round about 400m away.
If you prefer to be more active? Four indoor tennis courts in the house, and some clay courts in the area in summer, are at your disposal. Please contact our reception for reservation. There is also a floodlit football pitch and other grass training pitches just a few steps from the hotel.
Of course, you can also discover the fantastic diversity of the nature conservation landscape ‘Lüneburg Heath’ right from the hotel. On the bike, with the walking sticks or even in a relaxed stroll!
If you suddenly feel like traveling to the big city, escape the idyll of the heath and take a trip to Hamburg (approx. 75 km away) or Bremen (approx. 83 km away). Lüneburg, just under 55 km away, also offers a variety of attractive leisure activities as well as an interesting cultural offering.
Tennis hall temporarily closed!
Dear guests,
we hereby point out the temporary closure of our tennis hall.
Due to the enormous increase in energy costs, we decided to temporarily close the tennis facility. By saving the hall’s very high heating costs, we hope to be able to make a major contribution to energy savings.
We ask for your understanding and hope to be able to reopen as soon as there are new energy concepts!
Rent a bike at the hotel
Bikes can be borrowed via our reception!
(Hotel-owned bikes are available from March till October)
price per bike per day – 8,50 € (E-bikes on request)
Also a map of trails can be bought at the reception!
Please note that we do not accept reservations in advance. The rental is based on availability!
Soccer training
You are cordially invited to participate in our soccer training in the ‘Lüneburg Heath’!
Our hotel is situated in the suburb of Schneverdingen directly in the national park ‘Lüneburg Heath’. The quiet, convenient and naturally beautiful location is a guarantee for relaxation, successful meetings and training camps.
In the last years we achieved substantial popularity when executing training camps and accommodation for hand- and football teams. The sport areas with optimal conditions are situated
directly beyond the hotel and show a great advantage for our guests.
